After a year-and-a-half layover in Linden, NJ, I moved to Western New York in 1984
to a small suburb of Rochester called Honeoye Falls.

People who have been to Rochester at the wrong time of year think of it as a frozen
tundra but the Finger Lakes Region is one of the most beautiful places on earth in the
Spring, Summer and Fall.

Lake Ontario and Letchworth Park are also beautiful places to visit in non-Winter months
and all of these things make surviving the long winters well worth it.

Besides the lakes, parks and other great scenery, Rochester and its suburbs offer so many
other things to do and see.  After all, we have to find things to do indoors as well.

In 2003, I bought my first house on my own in Rush, NY, a suburb of Rochester.

I call it Stonehaven.
